Mini Pig Training Course 7. In this mini pig trick training course you will learn how to teach 4 tricks or skills. Some fun and some functional as we really like to mix things up. This course has teaching wait, which is one of the top 5 most useful skills. Skill level is medium. Any age pig can learn these tricks and skills. We will give you the step by step so that you have the tools you need to successfully teach your pig. So come have some fun with us!

Roll Out a Carpet Teach your pig to roll out a carpet. This is a super snout skill. Very impressive for any audience as a show starter. This is a great start to your “show” if you decide to start taking your pig out into your community. To teach this trick you will need a yoga mat or something similar.
Ring a Service Bell An all time favorite. Your pig will love being able to communicate with you with a ding, ding, ding of the service bell. Very low level of difficulty for pigs of any ages. You can find a service bell on line or in our store American Mini Pig Store.
Wait or Stay This is one of our favorites. Excellent for establishing manners at meal time. You may also use wait to establish boundaries. Asking your pig to wait while you enter the kitchen etc. This is a more challenging skill, but with some practice you will have your pig waiting in no time at all.
Wave Why teach wave? Well, it’s cute! This trick will melt any heart. That sweet hoof flapping hello! Oh my!! We much prefer a cute pig sitting quietly behind us waving their hoof for attention, rather than a pushy obnoxious squealing pig nipping our calves! By giving pigs an effectively way to communicate with us appropriately, we are able to avoid many of the bad behaviors that result from frustrated and confused pigs.
